1968 Rolex 1675 GMT Master, Turning Brown Matte Mark I Dial Long “E”
Hard to see in pics, but this dial is turning brown. Not going to call it Tropical, but it’s turning for sure.
1.9m Serial Number, All engravings crisp and clear
Original Hooked 7 Date Wheel.
Watch recently returned from a complete restoration and mechanical service.
Watch is running better than COSC specs at +/- 1 second per day
Dial is 100% original and Genuine Rolex, NOT Refinished.
Hands are Original Tritium with a distinct Yellow color when exposed to UV.
Dial is also Original Tritium but less yellow than hands. Tritium Stardust is visible on dial plots and hands. (see photos)
Dial is unblemished and flawless with Off white eggshell to light beige plots
Difficult to capture Brown dial color but, it is easily visible when compared to a truly Black dial.
Lugs and case are in Excellent condition.
Original Case has been professionally restored with sharp wide chamfers
Insert is beautifully faded “Pepsi” Pink/Blue with RED Back.
Folded Link Jubilee bracelet with 2-68 stamped clasp and 50 end links, specific to GMT models only.
**Anything that appears to be damage is lint and dust, dial has NO Damage**
Case back Stamped IV.68- which is correct and original to watch
Proper Twinlock Crown, correct for 1675 models
Recently pressure tested, timed and keeping accurate time, ready to wear!
